    Fairtrade and handmade, this mug is crafted by a local women’s group in Palestine that strive to alleviate local poverty and unemployment, whilst sustaining Palestinian handicraft workmanship traditions. A beautiful addition to your kitchen that is a keeper. Using techniques that date back to ancient Phoenician times, environmentally-friendly recycled materials are used as the base to make these ceramics. Traditionally gifted to newly weds, buy it for yourself or gift it. It would make a great gift idea as housewarming, newlywed, Christmas, birthday, for history fans, folklore item collectors, chef, cooks and friends and family alike.

    These hamdmade mugs are indeed as advertised; they look beautiful on our shelves and table. We love the slight variations in each which remind us of the hand-made effort that went into each mug. As we own other pottery (bowls, trivets, serving plates) from Israel, these mugs fit in all the better!

    Especially now, we are so happy to be able to support the work of these Palestinian women

    We did experience some issues in receiving our order, which I only mention because of how quickly and easily the folks at Just So Shop responded! I would definitely recommend the seller and their products.
