Badala is a not-for-profit organisation working in East African and Central America.  It provides microfinance to ex-sex workers and education scholarships to their children. 

The mothers receiving microfinance use their traditional skills to make beautifully crafted homeware that we are now selling through So Just Shop.  The small loans they receive enable them to buy high quality materials used to make these products.  This process provides them with a safe, secure income, revolutionising their lives and that of their children.
